For performance at theaters, schools, libraries and festivals, we present the Great Lakes National Puppet Theatre. Performing with exquisitely sculpted hand-and-rod puppets, English hand puppets, Indonesian shadow puppets and Japanese "Bunraku" type puppets, the Great Lakes National Puppet Theatre performs classic tales for children and family audiences including "Rumplestiltzkin", "Tales of King Arthur" and the traditional "Punch & Judy".

For younger children, Great Lakes National Puppet Theater is proud to present an adventure in healthy eating. "The Adventures of Super Nutrition Man" is geared for the K through 3 audience. Using colorful "Muppet-type", hand and rod puppets, this production teaches children about healthy snacks, the dangers of junk food and how to say "NO" to "The Growler"!

Each production is self-contained, with all staging, lighting and sound and features a custom recorded soundtrack. Performances are 25 to 45 minutes in length and can be presented outdoors, as well as in a theatre type setting. The puppeteers are available, upon advance request, to visit individual classrooms, following the performance, to answer any questions the children may have.
