Vincent J. Polowy

Vincent's Technical Resume 

Vincent J. Polowy has been performing magic since he was five years old. Since then his love for magic has grown, as well as his knowledge and ability in the art. He is a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM), the Magicians Alliance of Western New York (MAWNY) and is a founding member of "The Gathering". He has performed all across the United States at schools, theatres, festivals, renaissance faires, universities and at major theme parks including Sea World and Six Flags Worlds of Adventure. He is a dedicated performer, having toured throughout the United States as a puppeteer, performing and conducting workshops with adults and children of all ages. Vincent has toured schools throughout Western New York, conducting assembly programs for Western New York United Against Drug and Alcohol Abuse. He performed as a member of the Hands Down Puppet Theatre, of Buffalo, New York and has worked extensively with the internationally recognized Das Puppenspiel Puppet Theatre, of Westfield, New York. Vincent has performed at the Louisville Children's Theatre (KY), the Birmingham Children's Theatre (AL), Artpark (NY), Chautauqua Institution (NY), The New England Puppetry Series (MA), with the Lake Charles Symphony Orchestra (LA) and with Red [an orchestra] (OH) with renowned puppeteer Basil Twist. Vincent is a founding member of "The Eclectic CirCus" performance ensemble, as well as "The Dickens' Carolers", a four-part harmony, acapella vocal group. He is a professional theatrical designer, with credits at theatres all over the east coast including The Cleveland Playhouse (OH), The Paul Robeson Theatre (NY), The Beck Center For the Arts (OH), Theatre Hopkins (MD), Ensemble Theatre (OH), The 1891 Fredonia Opera House (NY), Cleveland J.C.C. (OH), The Fine Arts Association (OH) and Cleveland Public Theatre (OH). Vincent performs as a clown and teaches classes and workshops on clowning, magic, puppetry and technical theatre. He has performed as a professional musician for over twenty years. His love for magic, music, theatre and performing make it a pleasure for him to bring his magic to your audience.

Cassandra Vincent has spent most of her time on the theatrical stage as a professional singer, dancer, actor, puppeteer, mime, voice-over artist and choreographer. Her magic is an extension and combination of all of these pursuits. She has performed at the Metropolitan Opera (NYC), toured with the award-winning Das Puppenspiel Puppet Theatre (Westfield, NY), sung with the Greater Buffalo Opera (Buffalo, NY), performed with such theatres as the Cleveland Play House (Cleveland, OH), Summerfare Musical Theatre (Buffalo, NY), Ensemble Theatre (Cleveland, OH), Dobama Theatre (Cleveland, OH), performed full dialect improvisation and stage combat with the Great Lakes Medieval Faire (Geneva, OH), done improvisation based on conflict management for Theatre For Change (Buffalo, NY), along with a multitude of dramatic and musical productions for a variety of theatres and audiences. Cassandra holds a special major BA in the Performing Arts with Honors, having attended both the State University of New York at Buffalo and the University of Kent and the Kent School of Music, Canterbury, UK. She is a member of Actors Equity Association (AEA), the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA), the Magicians Alliance of Western New York (MAWNY) and "The Gathering". In addition to performance, Cassandra is responsible for the choreography for Vincent Magic Productions.                                

 

                                      Aaron J. Bonk

Aaron Bonk has been studying music, juggling and the human psyche for over 20 years. As an entertainer dedicated to variety, Aaron performs unique, event specific shows for private events, theme parks, colleges, theatres, nightclubs, cruise ships and outdoor festivals. Previous Bonk sightings have occurred at Cleveland Public Theatre with modern dance troupe SAFMOD, in "Requiem Descending", (earning Aaron the title "That Fire Guy"), in his one-man show "Move", at various renaissance festivals as "Elbonko the Outrageous" and at many other events across the country. Continually pushing his own creative productivity, Aaron draws inspiration for his "dance with objects" style from all walk of life. Vaudevillian quirkiness, modern dance, classic romance, passion, anger, joy, pain, desire and rhythms of existence are all combined into an expression of what it means to be human in the curious world of Aaron Bonk.

 

                              

 

                                     Richard Brentar

Richard Alan Brentar has been performing nearly his entire life. Through his early years, Richard played the trombone, French horn, percussion, piano and bass guitar. After high school he traveled to Europe, performing with American Music Abroad. Attending university at Baldwin Wallace College Conservatory of Music, he gained the knowledge of the music of the Renaissance and Medieval and learned to play the instruments of the time, including harp, viol de gamba, recorders, crumhorns and cornetto. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree and was a member of the Mu Phi Epsilon musical honorary.  During this time, he also performed in the pit orchestras for many local theaters, including Berea Summer Theater, Royalton Players, Greenbriar Theater, Chagrin Valley Little Theater, Cleveland Men’s Singer’s Club and the Chagrin Valley Civic Orchestra. Richard has performed on the Renaissance Faire circuit for over ten years, appearing at the Great Lakes Medieval Faire (where he also served as the musical director for four years), the Michigan Renaissance Festival, the Ohio Renaissance Festival, the Baycrafters Renaissance Fayre, the Sarasota Medieval Fair and the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival. Richard was a founding member of the Celtic music group AnamChara and is also a member of the Dicken’s Carolers.

 

 

                                    Jennifer Walker

Jennifer Walker's interest in theatre began by performing in plays and musicals while in high school. After graduating, she attended Kent State University where she majored in Fine Art. Jennifer travels throughout the United States with both "The Eclectic CirCus", where she performs the duty of stage manager and with "Porter & Stout", as the groups Director of Merchandising. She is one of the chief puppet builders of Vincent Magic Productions and also performs as one of the company puppeteers. A former child-care specialist, Jennifer enjoys performing as "Trixie the Clown", where she has the opportunity to entertain children and adults alike. Jennifer has technical credits at several Cleveland area theatres including Great Lakes Theater Festival, Beachwood Community Theatre and for Beachwood City Schools. She is a member of "The Gathering", an organization dedicated to magic and the performing arts.
